Tracks

Here is some miscellanous information about the tracks, mainly based on the races run on them.

Fastest

In terms of top speed nothing will beat the Test Track. Speeds of well over 400km/h are possible.
But in lap and race times there are some quicker tracks...
Super Speedway is cable of very quick laps. It also has a 2 lap race, which even with a 394 hp limit has the AI cars finishing in about 1m30s (and the player's car can do quicker than that!)
Rome Short Course is short and very fast. The Wagon Cup race takes about 1m45s for the AI cars.
With lap times similar to the Test Track. there are several other races around the 2 minute flat mark for 2 laps. These include ones on Seattle Short Course, Clubman R5, and High Speed Ring.

Least Used

Mainly the original GT tracks
Clubman R5 and Test Course get a single race each.
Autumn Ring and Grand Valley East get just 2.
Of the new tracks, Super Speedway gets 3 races.

Most Used

I hope you like the 'Corkscrew', because you will go through it plenty of times in completing GT2!
Laguna Seca gets 14 races, including an enduro and plenty of race series. This also gets it the most laps, with 131.
The best of the originals comes next - Trial Mountain getting 11 races, but only a tiny 58 laps.
Rome City Course gets 10 races, but almost matches Laguna Seca with 128 laps. Plus there are 5 more races on the short version.
