I decided to keep playing some more days in the proper game (Maybe here) to try out the different Nissan cars (Skylines) which seemed they might possibly be able to win the Normal series. |
I tried several of them. I'm not a great driver, so I reloaded the game until no NSX was present in the line-up. |
After one learning experience, I got so I could beat that field with all the Skyline GT-R's I tried, but only one of them showed the potential for beating the NSX. I'm sad-to-say that that was that old cliché, the 1989 Skyline GT-R. |
Here are the results of that monumental series. |
|
As usual in this series, the NSX always placed the best it could, followed by the TRD. (Actually, the TRD sometimes loses a place at one or two races, especially Autumn Ring Mini and SSR11). |
I was 5.138 seconds behind the NSX at GVEii, and 11.631 seconds behind it at DFRW. |
Both Autumn Mini and SSR11 were close too, with me winning by only 0.562 and 2.918 seconds, respectively. |
The two difficult races for Skylines seem to be GVEii and (surprise!) DFRW. Also, many of the versions fast enough to beat the TRD at SSR11 probably weren't quite fast enough to beat the NSX at that last race. |
As I say, the above result was a culmination of effort. Here's a summary of all my Skyline tests. |
