The Griffith 500, in the North American game at least, is certainly one of the stars of the game, and it certainly ran away with the Grand Valley 300. |
In the warm-up GT-I Cup, it swept all races, and missed only the pole at DFRW, beating a GTO twinturbo, a GT-R'91, and an NSX-R. |

I got the lead from the start, first lapping a car at lap 9. I had lapped almost the whole field by lap 11, so I did not pit at 12, but stayed out to build a lead and avoid traffic. To avoid having to pass the GT-R twice, I pitted at lap 14, but, nonetheless, things looked good for a three-stop strategy. |
I lapped the GT-R for the second time at lap 30, and, for the first time since my first race, it took its pit stop at the same time as me! It's quite fun watching it in the pits while you are there too. |
I lapped the GT-R again on lap 45, and, once again, we took a common pit stop. |
I lapped the GT-R for a fourth and final time, on the road, on lap 59. |
I had quite a few minor incidents, but still set generally consistent times. The time makes this car third only to Concept Cars and GTO'95 MR times. |
I won Cr300,000, and a black/green Castrol Supra GT. |
