A Lowly 1995 Primera 2.0 Te Manages to Win at Grand Valley

Looking for a further challenge at the Grand Valley 300, I decided to enter with the Nissan Primera'95 2.0Te (fully race-modified). Time trials suggested it would be slightly slower than the Prelude VTEC, which should result in a very close race.

I quickly slipped into a solid fourth, but gained ground as the AI cars slowed down when their tires wore. However, even with the AI pit stops I had only got to second place by my first stop. During the stop I slipped back to fourth.

AI pit stops helped me to gain first place before my second stop, but once again I dropped back to fourth during the stop. Things looked a little tense, but my time exiting the pit was only a little over half of 1-42, and that included the second stop.

But at stop 3 I dropped back to fourth again, though not by much, and I drove to the lead on the road, passing the Castrol Supra, although quite soon after that it took its last pit stop.

I tripped up a bit on lap 50 at the double hairpin near the end of the course. This was while I was dicing with the Castrol Supra, causing me to try and cut in too early for the first of those two hairpins.

I won Cr300,000, and a black/blue Castrol Supra GT.

My winning time of just under 1-42 would quite likely not be good enough to beat the NSX-R LM GT2.

Once again I actually recorded all lap times, as follows:

Lucky you! 8-)

Not only that, I saved the setting too. All the parts were maxed, and I used soft slicks as I usually do.

After this, I did a few time trials of Grand Valley with this car, but, somewhat surprisingly, was not able to beat my previous record with this car.
