NOTES

Race Cars

This indicates if the computer cars in the race are race models.
Sometimes non-race cars will be entered in with race cars, but these are ones with high downforce and are considered as race cars (eg Lotus Elise GT1, Toyota GT One Road Car))
In a few races, there may be a 'hot' race car entered (or even 2). This may not happen every time the race is entered. These cars are listed in this column.

Prize Cars

Generally there is 1 car per race. Some races (the Enduros, GT300, GT500 and World League) have several cars available. The car that is won is choosen at random.
Some race series share prize cars amongst the races, again choosen at random. The Tuned NA Cup even has 4 cars and only 3 races.
Some cars are available in a range of colours. Look at the prize car list to see what or how many colours are available. Again, the colour of the car is determined randomly. With some cars having several colour combinations, it may take a few races to get them all.

Prize Car $

This is the sell price of the prize car. The real money is usually in the sell price of the prize car, not in the prize money for the race. So this figure is very useful for finding out which races will make you money!
It can also give a good indication as to which prize cars are race cars. All race or race like cars are $125,000 or more (although the Tuscan Speed 6 is $125,000 and is a normal car.)

Time

This is the approximate time it takes for the first of the computer cars to finish the race. The times were taken when the race was won by leading all the way. But it is only an approximate!
As a rough rule of thumb, you need to do the race in around this time to win. However, it is possible to finish a lot slower than this and still win. The AI cars will slow down if you are not winning.
In most races a good car will finish under this time, in the longer races it may be well under this time. It is possible to lap the AI cars in some of the 5 lap races.

Eligibility To Race

Apart from the drive type series (FF, FR, MR and 4WD) and Turbo/NA series, there seems to be no eligibility other than the HP limit. This HP limit is done off the Garage HP (as used in the car list). Once in the race and using Settings, it shows a different, higher, HP figure. This will make it seem that you can exceed the HP limit. But when you return to the garage the HP shown will be on or under the limit.
